5 Months Old

Hey guys, guess what? It's my five month birthday! I can hardly believe it, I seem to be growing so fast. I love moving and last month I learned to roll over both sides but haven't figured how to go from my front to back, I like tummy time so much. At the beginning of the month, I let out my first chuckle. Now Mommy and Dadda can make me laugh quite a bit, usually with some sort of tickling.

I like to taste everything I can grab and usually chew on it since my gums have been bothering me practically this whole month. I'm not sure, but I think I may be getting those white things that Mommy and Daddy use to chew stuff that goes in their mouth. I've been watching intently, hoping they'll let me try that soon. It's fascinating.

Some other new things I've been trying is sitting by myself for longer periods of time in the Bumbo, sitting/standing in the walker, and bouncing in the Johnny Jump-Up. It's really fun to get a feel for using my legs. I love watching kids, but pretty much anyone can get me to smile. Maybe next time Mommy posts, I'll show a white "tooth" in my grin?
